Backpacker fun!

Wine flies has invited the back packer industry to taste what all the talk is about. We visited 5 wine estates, had plenty to drink, enjoyed tasting in an actual old wine tank, had Butternut soup and traditional Waterblommetjie Bredie for lunch. Then chocolates, cheese and bubbly. We walked through the vineyards and then through a cellar to find out how the grape ends into wine.

We got to meet the winemakers and one of the great descendants of the Anglo Boer war. Only to end the day on a balcony with a private concert organized for their entertainment. See more pictures and comments on our face book.
